For the second part of Kaly & Michael's dreamy Engagement Session, we headed to the beautiful and quaint downtown Aurora to visit their favourite coffee shops. My own husband and I recently opened up our own coffee shop, so we all connected through coffee and tea haha, and were so excited to check out all the lovely little coffee/tea shops around the area. After our trek through the woods and our feet basically frozen, we warmed up and hung out in a lovely little library/antique shop/coffee shop (called Books and Things) in which we also took some of the dreamy photos you'll see below. On our way out to visit another little cafe, we caught a peek of the sun setting and just ran for it so we could grab some amazing lighting that we were sure we weren't gonna get throughout the cloudiness of the beginning of the day. But, God provided and gave us the most beautiful sunset to be in awe at, and we definitely captured some amazingness.
These two had no problem warming up together, and you can just see the love, romance and sparks flying. Dreams came true in this session, and I've gotta say I'm beyond thankful for these two and their sweetness, and their friendship. I seriously adore what I do. So go ahead, swoon along with part two of this Dreamy Love Session. (Check out Part One of this session here - A real life Fairytale in the Woods)

Okay, all I can say is that this engagement session is one that dreams are made of.
Kaly and Michael are not only ridiculously beautiful in photos, but are just beautiful souls in general and it's just a breath of fresh air to be around them. I praise God for these two and the love that marks them, it's contagious. When we first planned this session, Kaly told me that she's praying for light snow on the day of so it can fall in her hair and look dreamy, haha. Sure enough, the week before it didn't snow once, but the day before and the day of it snowed perfectly. Heavy snow the day before to fill up the woods and light snow the day of to fill up her hair! The Lord answered our prayers. It seems like such an insignificant little thing, but He took delight in taking care of that too. While in the woods, the weather was on our side in that it wasn't even as cold as we expected, and it only got reallyyy cold as the sun was setting and our clothes were soaked from treking through the woods (others even skied past us, it was that amazing of a place!) which brings me to my next point, there's a part two to this session, filled with dreamy sunset romance and books. I just can't get enough of these two. Overall, this whole shoot just whispers fairytale, and that is exactly what it felt like photographing them. Warm hugs & snuggles, adorable smiles and that I-absolutely-adore-you look in their eyes, they're a dream. Go ahead and swoon over their dreamy engagement session now, enjoy! (Be on the lookout for Part Two!) This lovely engagement shoot was supposed to be all fall, but that day ended up being the day of the first snow fall! We didn't mind at all, because it made the whole shoot that much lovelier, as you can see. My favourite thing about this shoot was the total outpour of love in Jana's laughter and pure joy, Dave's sweetness towards her. When we first met for coffee we talked about lots of things, and they laughed about how different they are, but as I spent this time together with them exploring one of their favourite places (as this is where they do their cute, romantic walks together haha) I have only seen the most important thing of all - their overwhelming love for one another. In the end, the beauty of love is the way two people come together in perfect unity because of it. Needless to say, I am SO excited for their wedding next year! I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine. This is most definitely one of the most stunning weddings I have ever attended, photographed and seen. I am in AWE!! Dennis & Doris are not only incredible people on their own, but together they shine of a love so deep and true that you can't help but adore them. They flew me out to Missouri to capture their Wedding Day, and I got there the day before their Wedding and got to see the beauty of Missouri and be apart of the-day-before-craziness haha, but really it was a Wedding Weekend I will never forget, surrounded by incredible people (I'm not even gonna talk about their awesome bridal party aka. my instant bffs, they're amazing, if you're reading this guys - you're all amazing! thank you for everything). As for the beautiful wedding you will see, every detail was perfectly planned and put together by the two of them and their family and friends! It was truly breath-taking, from the beginning of the Wedding Day in a home on the lake ( seriously, just look at the glory of the rising sun in the photo below, through the fog on the lake) to the stunning sunset and their awesome getaway haha. Dennis & Doris, thank you for your kindness and love and for being the incredible people you are. The Lord's hand is so evident over your lives may His glory continue to shine through you and your love for one another, as well as those around you all the days of your lives. "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
1 Corinthians 13:13 We went out right before sundown, in the fields next to Diana's house out in the country and amazing beauty was inevitable.
These two are not only good friends of ours (Diana was one of my awesome friends who planned my bridal shower + was there the whole week before my wedding dealing with all the crazy and all my constant screaming excitement haha), but they're also full of laughter and silliness, and overflowing with love for one another. This session was a dream, take it in. In a place where beauty abounds, the sun peaks almost magically through the trees...and mosquitoes thrive and bite without remorse, we had a wonderful and fun little adventure shoot with Emily and Dylan.
Besides all the mosquitoes, this shoot was so much fun, and these two are a total blast to shoot and just simply be around in. They're goofy and silly and so much fun, and they were literally glowing with love for one another. Complete with a picnic, a balloon toss and a water balloon fight, these two are the bomb. Enjoy these following photos friends, and marvel at how simply awesome these two are, just like I did throughout the shoot and in post-editing afterwards. :) When this couple contacted me for a shoot and described it as "romantic, soft and whimsical" I was really really excited. Mansii is actually one of the girls I went to high school with and laughed with in the randomest of classes, so I was excited when she told me that herself and her boyfriend wanted to do a shoot. I love everything romantic and fairytale-like and these two are literally right out of a fairytale. As I was shooting I would just stop and look at the results and stare with my jaw dropped. These two are way perfect together, and they truly bring out all that romance is all about. The way they look at each other and laugh together and even their body language just spoke of the sweetest love they have for one another. We shot at sunset, in the dreamiest of gardens and finished shooting under the full moon - what could be more romantic?
